Easter 2011

Aunt Sarah asked the Easter Bunny if she could hide our eggs this year! We are ready to go hunting!

As Hunter looks in his basket...where is egg #12?

Aunt Sarah did a really good job hiding the eggs, but it's a good thing that mom and I counted how many eggs we decorated. Back on the hunt for egg #12. Don't worry, I eventually found it with the help of my mom.

The Center for Animal Health and Welfare

On April 18th, Dan, some NCC radiogy/Vet tech students and I stood outside and held buckets to collect money and food items for the Center (SPCA). They are a no kill SPCA that have over 200 cats, random birds/small pets and sometimes over100 dogs. We were able to raise over $700 (I forget the official amount) and collect a healthy portion of food and other items such as hoses, blankets, bleach, dish soap, etc. I'm so proud of my husband for arranging this event and making it a great success

Look at all of that food!

Two recently acquired family members of the Center stopped by. They both loved attention and hopefully found a good home already.

A Tribute To Our First Home

Put together a short video of a couple of before and after pictures (my very first video). Just to show some of the work we did to our first home.

Whistle while you work!

So we hustled this past weekend to get the house fixed up so we can put it on the market this week. I drilled my first and second door knob and  Dan chizled. The next day I painted for 8 hours, by the end of the day I threw out the brushes. We hung a storm door on the garage in the evening and cleaned all day Monday (minus a run in the evening).
